Jane’s Journey “Grappling”

Jane's Journey "Grappling" Jane's Journey is my transition into "hereafter" or my "from now on" of retirement. I am writing here to inspire, stir, awaken, and encourage you to engage with what is in your heart to enjoy and with the simplicity of crafting your hereafter daily, as it becometh you. Retirement is when we realize and engage the times, ideas, and realms of possibility that our heart looked for and your mind imaged but never tasted of, until now. In the first segment of Jane's Journey, It was about reviewing the preparation done to be ready to enter retirement. After three months, I did the second segment on reflecting and facing the changes, challenges, and how all my preplanned did not work as I had planned. And now after six months of retirement, I am grappling! Grappling is to…

Be Not Weary

"Weary", is a word that when we even hear it, we can feel our energy trying to drain out of us, just as the sound of the word. If we look at what weary means we will find various descriptions but these two are the most interesting and apply to us as "Warriors of Well Doing". First, weary is described as feeling or showing tiredness. When we hear, "she is so weary working and carrying for sick children", we relate to the fact that she is not getting enough sleep and even more, she has no time for herself, therefore she is weary and we feel her weariness. Secondly and more to the heart of the matter when we feel weary, it is described as reluctant to see or experience any more of what we have been dealing with or…

The Art of Management and Marriage

I want to share with you two extraordinary roles that over time have become looked on as ordinary. They look ordinary because those that skillfully do them make it look so easy and natural. But the truth is there is nothing easy, natural, or ordinary about them. I am speaking about "The Art of Management and Motherhood". So why do I pair these seemingly different roles together? I do so because I have occupied both of these roles for over 30 years and I know that they are more similar than different. Those of us that are skillful at management and motherhood carries a wide range of influence on this generation and the generations that will follow after we move on to a new season. Art is not perfect and neither are we. But art is skillful and so are…

With God, No Problem is Too Big to Overcome!

This post is the revelatory teaching notes that Dr. Aikens taught from in the Bootcamp entitled "With God No Problem is Too Big to Overcome!". Posted by Rev. Jane Babich after attending the Bootcamp. “With God No Problem is Too Big to Overcome!”                                                                       Dr. Audrey Aikens It is the stormy, contrary and boisterous winds we all experience in life that can convey so many revelatory concepts we can learn from if we are determined to walk with God. Winds can bring in floods to lash against us as weapons formed full of threatening sounds. Their distorted sounds can stifle our attempts to “speak boldly” in faith; when despite our efforts we still hear challenging reports of devastation sighted. From Adam, we learned we can be equipped with all the best God has to offer and still, we’ll find winds full…

Recognize and Respect the Press of Others

As we continue to look at the ability we have in building a well-crafted legacy, we have discussed the four foundational elements that bring movement within your building. They are Passion, Bravery, Forgiveness, and Restful Emptiness. Click the links to read about each of them. In this segment, we look at recognizing and respecting how we "builders" demonstrate a pressing of moving through challenges and obstacles we face. The press of others and yourself is the fuel that keeps us moving, expands your thinking and contributes to our personal growth RESPECT Respect comes from a Latin word that means “to look back at”.  Respect is given “after”, or on the other side of a circumstance or season. Respect is a response to something that causes us to look back at it in wonder and admiration. Respect does not have to be spoken…

Revelatory Understanding of the “Spirits of the Lord”

This post is the revelatory teaching notes that Dr. Aikens taught from in the Bootcamp entitled "Spirits of the Lord" Posted by Rev. Jane Babich after attending the Bootcamp. The "Spirits of the Lord" are key to our understanding of the power God gives to those that know Him as "Ruwach-Yahweh" or "The Spirit of God". The Spirit of the Lord as "Ruwach-Yahweh appears first in Judges 3:10 Judges 3:10 "The Spirit of the Lord was upon him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the Lord gave Cushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand. And his hand prevailed over Cushan-rishathaim". It then is seen thirty more times scripturally; and yet He is the same revealed from at the beginning as the Spirit of God; and who speaks last in Revelation 22:17, as the “Spirit” assigned with the Bride to say.…

Building Your Legacy – Elements (Part 2)

Forgiveness and Restful Emptiness are two of the four elements of change in our life and legacy. Click here to read about the other two, Bravery and Passion. Forgiveness If we do not build our legacy from a place of quick and full forgiveness we will end up stuck in life. Stuck means we will experience a lack of productivity and creativity until we forgive. Being stuck will also cause us to be blind to what we should be grateful for in that area and halts fruitfulness.  Being a forgiving person release a spirit of gratitude in our life. Just like gratitude, forgiveness must be expressed. If I do not express it, it can not be activated in my life and legacy. I express my gratitude to God first and then to those that He uses to give me cause to be grateful.  I express…

Commend All, into Abba’s Hands! (Part 3)

We ended Part One of Commend All, into Abba's Hands", with the revelation of our way out of any dark time. Understand, under the veil of darkness, an evil agenda was unfolding in the spirit world, that men on their own couldn’t see. But revelation says Sa`tan used the time given; working to obscure Jesus revelation, Who He was. But God already appointed His Light can’t be taken by evil intent prevailing, against His Son’s Spirit. He intended to reveal that within the essential time set as 12-3pm’s unfolding; Jesus in its after-hour; still yet wisely “see”. He’d discern the revelatory way to escape out of, unto; in any darkness, is always to commend His Spirit, only into His Abba’s hands. We ended Part Two with the revelation and definition of the words "It is Finished", but it was not…

Building Your Legacy – Elements (Part1)

As a recap, in the first segment of Building Your Legacy, we reviewed the definition of legacy along with the need for four foundational elements to be at work so that your legacy can bear fruit. In this segment, we will look at two of the four foundational elements of Passion and Bravery. Passion Passion is one of the four elements of change in your life. As it relates to the element of passion being foundational in the building of our legacy, it is not about finding our passion. The element of passion is about the intense fire of enthusiasm that we bring into our legacy. God gives us peace to not be concerned about seeking our passion, but to seek Him, and He will bring our passion or purpose to fulfillment. I cry out to God Most High,to God…
