This is a new series from Dr. Aikens entitled “Revelatory Words and Concepts” These revelatory nuggets are curated by Jane Babich from Bootcamp Teachings and Podcasts. These concepts are rooted in Apostle Aikens’s heart toward equipping ministries and ministers for the work of the end times.
Acts 1:7
And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
In Acts 1:7, seasons are rendered “kairos,” and Jesus said, “It is not for you to know times or seasons God keeps in His own power. They are times men may feel are uncertain: yet they prove they are set by God in which He works to produce fruitfulness He has established be seen in His time.
Kairos is thought of as spiritually; it is an opportunity and favor that God assists us in discerning as a moment of grace. And all this Kairos time is in God’s power.
In these times or seasons called kairos, He develops purposed things unseen, invisible deathless so everlasting that they may seem impossible, so they require faith lived not just spoke but exercised as a believing in the concept of ” but God.”
There will be seasons or times of kairos that we need to see, as it says in 2 Corinthians 4:18. “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” God always moves in kairos in our life, moving us and pointing us into eternity. Eternity that is lived now, while we are walking out our purpose here on earth, for our good and His glory.
Acts 20:18
And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
Seasons in Acts 20:18 are “Chronos” signifying a space of fixed time, refer to established segments of measurable spaces and periods of time. They are times it eventually becomes evident somethings not just exist; but is God purposed, so energized to suddenly begin to flourish, expand, take hold, increase, and move to the forefront as He has ordered be seen glorifying Him.
The word “Chronos” (you probably recognize this one as the root for the English words “chronological” and “chronicle”) refers to measured, ticking, quantitative time. Thus, Chronos is the forward propelling time that we measure with clocks, watches, and the evolutionary phases of the moon. But time does not end there.
These segments of Chronos time God sets to become fruitfully beautiful: to come to a being our best self or as we say today: beginning to now live, our best life.
Our “but God” is that all seasons, whether kairos or Chronos are in God’s power and control for those that are “His” therefore, we take hope in declaring this scripture.
Daniel 2:20-21 (KJV)
Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.
