Comprehend it Not
Comprehend: in John 1:5, and the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not is “katalambano” (kat-al-am-ban'-o); it signifies darkness as evil thinking to be present with God while yet exalting itself to overthrow Him; couldn’t grasp the way to avoid; control or make “light” his own. Comprehend it not: signifies Lucifer couldn’t prevent, hinder or thwart God’s light from exposing his darkness.
