As I walked the first time in the park behind my new home, a home God provided miraculously; the glory of His creative power encompassed me. With its high lush trees shaded the path, and green grass and hedging surround the edge that connected to my back yard. This little hideaway boasts its beauty with two wooden bridges covering a stream that waters this area as did the river Pishon in Havilah.
I started walking for exercise, but it turned into so much more. In this place, I felt more like a part of His creative work there than any other place I had experienced.
It was in this time and place that I was wooed by His glorious creative power that He spoke to me in a way I will never forget.
As I was walking and in awe of the home He was providing, He knew my belief of such a miracle was skewed. I had a limited belief that said to me, “I provided this home for my Servant, she deserves My best”. But the servant was not me, it was a semi-retired minister that the Lord had told me years ago to provide His Servant a home. She labored for Him daily, preached life changing messages, writing barrier-breaking words that bring revelation and deliverance to many. And she does deserve the best, and I knew that without a doubt.
But I was not ready for being wooed by His Glory in the path of that prepared place that day. As I walked I passed a newly painted picnic table positioned in the middle of a small clearing and as I was drawn to take a seat I could see the path, surrounded by the water slowing moving over the rocks and at the rise of the small hill was my home.
It was then I heard, “I did this for you”. I looked around to see who was there, it was like He sat down at the table with me and nudged me saying again, “I did this for you.”
Tears ran down my face, and in the moment, I was wooed by His glory to realize I AM of value to Him. I AM created me to be just as much of a wonder and beauty as any other of His creations. His Servant was worthy of this miracle, and so was I. We both are wooed by His Glory in our daily life; just differently.
We both are wooed by His Glory in our daily life; just differently. As you look at your life today understand that you are used by a loving creative God in ways you will never understand, which is probably good :).
I encourage you today to release the limiting belief that you are not worthy to declare ‘I AM wooed by His Glory” in my life.
because He created me to be a vital, valid part of Hid Glory working in this world He created…for just such a time as today.
